Wow! I think this is the LONGEST post on this blog! There are a TON of pictures, so kudos to you if you make it to the end!
Meadow turned one this month, and her party has long been anticipated! My aunt has been planning it for literally months. It was so much fun to walk into the house, decked out with flowers and butterflies (not to mention bunnies) in the middle of a very cold day. On the menu for a light lunch were Edible Embryos, Bunny Berries, Kit Kabobs, and other fun, spring-bunny themed foods. Champagne or sparkling grape juice were the drinks, and we finished with carrot-cake cupcakes. Meadow got to open gifts – the start of her doll collection (of which her older sister Lyric took much interest in!) and bunny books were a few of her presents.
Her brothers, Pickles and Freedom (whose birthday she was born on) also had birthdays this month, so they got to open up their gifts. Pickles has a MAJOR obsession with ladybugs, and so he got a lot of ladybug gifts – and Freedom is obsessed with Yoshi stuffed animals, and he was delighted to get a new one. At the end of the party, we all did photobooth pictures with props – it’s sort of become a new tradition in our family to take photobooth pictures at every party! We had some hare-raising posing, haha! All the children were absorbed for the rest of the day with their bunny-rabbit themed party favors and new toys.
I’m thinking we need to have more parties like this in the future! Enjoy some of my favorite pictures below 🙂
