I literally have no words for our wedding day. I could write about anyone else’s wedding day, but mine? Nearly impossible. 🙂 However, I’ll try.
Andrew and I – after being engaged for 6 months – finally got married at my parents’ home in Asheville, North Carolina. (Read our relationship story here!) It wasn’t as we intended – of course a COVID wedding wouldn’t be – but it was perfect in every way. We were supposed to be wed in a beautiful Highlands, NC venue – but you know? Being at home was the best thing ever, and I’m so glad that plans fell through.
It was not without stress – I think I’ve never been more stressed in my life, and I’m glad that I’m not getting married again. 😀 I’m more than happy to shoot weddings, and help friends plan weddings, but my own? I’m glad it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. There were so many things that became tense with COVID and the time crunch, but I’m so happy to be on the other side, because that’s what matters. (And my mom was a ROCK. She was amazing, and so was our incredible planner, Eleanor!)
Now for the best part! Our photographer the incredible Jackie Jones took such beautiful pictures. Here are just a few of my favorites!
