Mitch and Michelle | Cuba, MO Wedding Photographer

June 21, 2021

I met Michelle a week after marrying Andrew. We had just come home from our honeymoon and went to church for the first time since our marriage – and, the first time in months because covid restrictions had just been lifted in Missouri for churches. I met Michelle and found out she was an S&T college student, on her way to get her PHD in controls engineering. At least, that’s what I think it is – I’ve heard it multiple times, but I never can remember right. Embarrassing for being married to a scientist. Michelle asked me what I do and I said that I was a wedding photographer, to which she twisted a ring around on her left and and said “I just got engaged a few weeks ago.”

Over the course of the next year I got to know Michelle pretty well and I was so excited when she and Mitch finally set a date…in February. This girl planned her wedding in 3 1/2 months! And stayed sane at the same time! I am amazed. 😂 Seriously, that is some managing skill!

Mitch, Michelle – thank you for the honor of capturing your wedding day. It was beautiful and I am so happy to see you two married! I hope you had an awesome, relaxing honeymoon and I hope your marriage is blessed beyond measure.

Enjoy a few of my favorites from their day below!
