It’s hard to believe it’s been six years of marriage for my husband and I. Truly, the years have flown by (except the year I was pregnant and had hyperemesis gravidarum…) and it’s been such a joy to be married. Anniversary celebrations look a little different when you both work full time and have a toddler. But, a couple weeks before our anniversary, I learned that my long-time friend Penelope was going to be in the area. Penelope is an amazing cinematic wedding photographer and I’d been drooling over her work for years. When I learned that she would be a mere 3 hours from me, we quickly rearranged our schedule and made a whirlwind trip to get photos done.
