Elaine and Kyle’s October wedding was one of those days that reminded me why I love fall weddings so much. The sun was bright and the afternoon was warmer than anyone expected, but these two were so laid back that nothing could rattle them. Their day began with a ceremony at a church before everyone headed out to a beautiful farm venue for the reception. Elaine’s color palette was simply stunning: soft blush and muted mauve paired with navy for the guys. The result was sophisticated, romantic, and timeless, and it photographed beautifully against the warm farm setting and golden October light.
One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was Elaine’s dance with her mom and her brother, honoring her late father. It was tender and full of love, and it’s exactly the kind of moment I’m so grateful to capture for my couples. As a Rolla wedding photographer, I photograph weddings throughout Missouri and beyond, and I’m always happy to travel for couples like Elaine and Kyle. If you’re planning your own wedding and looking for a photographer who will capture both the beautiful details and the moments that matter most, I’d love to hear from you.
